Round #2

Easter weekend and School Holidays

No games on the Easter Weekend

There are no games on the Easter Weekend. That’s the 8th and 9th April.

Just when the season got started, we’re already taking a break! But don’t worry, we hear there will be chocolate!!

Yes, we play through the School Holidays

Incase you were wondering, all teams will play through the school holidays. That includes MiniRoos.

Round #3 games will be played on 15th and 16th April. Check out the SSFA website for details of times and venues. (Round #3 details weren’t released at time of publishing this newsletter. You might need to check the link later.)

Round #1 Brumby of the week!

Congratulations to Noah Charalambous from U6Ds, our Brumby of the week for Round #1.

Noah displayed excellent teamwork and great skill in his teams first official game, scoring 6 of his teams 12 goals! Great work Noah!

This weeks honourable mention goes to Lucinda from the W11As.

To nominate a player or team, send a message to our Facebook page by 9pm Sunday with a photo as well as their name, team and why you think they should be crowned Brumby of the Week.

Whether it’s a feel good story, a special milestone or an amazing achievement, we want to hear about it.

PLAYERS WANTED: U8s

We are urgently looking for players to join our boys U8F team

Under 8s are part of the MiniRoos program which focuses on skill development and teamwork so it’s a whole lot of fun, even if you have never played before!

If you can help or have a son interested in joining, please contact the Bangor FC Registrar (registrar@bangorbrumbies.org.au) as soon as possible.

Canteen enquiries are now closed

Thanks for all the enquiries regarding helping out in the canteens. We were inundated with responses from eager helpers.

We have plenty of candidates for the positions and so we won’t need any more for now.

Thanks again for all the support!

Ground Control Duty

The Brumbies run with volunteers!

Every week, it takes a team effort to ensure the fields are set up, the BBQ is hot and the games run smoothly.

We thank you in advance for pitching in to help when it is your team’s turn. Many hands make light work, as they say.

Teams on Ground Control for Round 2 have been notified. Coaches and Managers will be notified ahead of time when it is your team’s turn.

You can view the Ground Control roster for week 2.
