West Brom — only 10 spots left
Time is running out to sign up to the West Brom training clinics. It’ll be two incredible days of football training that you cannot get anywhere else in the Shire.
EFL Championship team West Bromwich Albion FC are sending some of their coaches to Bangor FC for a two day training clinic this July school holidays and places are going fast!
You’ll need to sign up quick to secure your kids a spot, because there are not many places left at this two day training clinic.
When is it and how much does it cost?
Thursday 13 July (9am – 4pm)
Friday 14 July (9am – 12pm)
The cost is $199 per child. It’s only open to boys and girls aged 6–14 who play for Bangor FC.
Who is West Brom?
West Bromwich Albion Football Club is an English professional football club based in West Bromwich, West Midlands, England. They compete in the EFL Championship, the second tier of English football.
They are coming to Bangor to run holiday programs exclusively for our Brumbies members. Bangor FC is the only club in the Shire that will have access to this program from West Brom.

New referees course starting soon
Mon 26 June & Mon 3 July 6.30 @ Buckle Reserve, Menai
The Sutherland Shire Football Referees Association (SSFRA) will be running a mid-season intake course for anyone who is interested in becoming a referee.
This will be held over Monday 26 June and Monday 3 July at Buckle Reserve, Menai, commencing at 6:30pm and is expected to conclude at approximately 8:30pm.

The SSFRA covers the SSFA full field matches under 12s and over (up to all ages). Referees must be at least 14 years of age. Referees can pick the hours and weekends they are available and make themselves available for as many or as few games as they want. Refereeing gives players the opportunity to gain a new perspective and improve their understanding of the game. It also provides the opportunity to earn some extra money and enhance your fitness.

Brumbies of the week!
Our Brumbies of the Week for Round 12 are the U14Ds!
Due to illness, the U14Ds were only able to field a team of 10 for this weekend’s game against Loftus. Following a tough first half, they dug deep, regrouped and showed their fighting spirit with a great second half. While they weren’t able to walk away with a win, the boys never gave up, displaying great resilience and team spirit. Excellent work boys!
This week’s honourable mention goes to Nathan from the U14Cs for great sportsmanship.
