Bangor FC Training Academy Starts Monday

Training kicks off on Monday!

The Bangor FC Training Academy kicks off on Monday. See below for details and visit the website to sign up.

Thanks again to everyone who came along to the final grading session last weekend.

As you can imagine, it’s not an easy task to organise a day like that so we appreciate your assistance and your patience as we work to get the Brumbies all set for season 2023.

I’d also like to thank the volunteers who put in two more big days to make it all happen. In particular, thanks to the Grading Team who were chasing kids and footballs all over Billa Oval.

And finally, thank you to those who volunteered to Coach and Manage our Brumbies in 2023.

Bangor FC Training Academy Starts Monday

The Bangor FC Training Academy is a football programme exclusive to Bangor FC players.

The Academy provides a wealth of benefits, including building character, relationships, leadership and social foundations and is open to both male and female players from the age of 5+.

Training begins Monday 20th February at Billa Oval.

  • U6–U8:  5.15 pm – 6.00 pm
  • U9–U11: 6.10 pm – 6.55 pm
  • U12 and above: 7.00 pm – 7.45 pm

To ensure we cater for each child’s individual needs we will be splitting the academy into two groups, the Development Squad and the Advanced Squad.

The coaching staff will make an assessment during this first session on Monday 20th February and allocate each child to either the Development squad or the Advanced squad. This will determine if your child will be attending the Monday sessions (Development) or Friday sessions (Advanced).

Team sheets for Coaches and Managers

Team sheets will be sent to Coaches and Managers the week after next once the SSFA have applied the official grading.

Is this your first year playing in the Sutherland Shire Football Association (SSFA)?

If so, we may need to see some documents such as proof of date of birth and proof of residency in order to approve your registration. Please check your inbox and spam folder for an email from our Registrar.

Please help us in the canteens

Everyone loves to grab a drink or a snack after the game. And all sales from the canteen go to keep the Brumbies running!

We’re looking for some volunteers that can spare some time to help out in the canteens. It doesn’t have to be every week. Just let us know when you’re available.

Please contact secretary@bangorbrumbies.org.au if you’re able to help out.

Brumbies Uniform and Apparel
