Junior Presentation Day was a hit!
Thanks to everyone for making our 2023 Junior Presentation Day such a huge success!
We hope you all had a great season! We would also like to say a big thank you to all the coaches, managers and committee members who have worked so hard to make this season happen!

Congratulations to our Junior Sports People of the Year!
Congratulations to Chloe Stevens and Ajay Duncan, the 2023 Bangor Football Club Junior Sports People of the Year!
Chloe has been a member of Bangor Football Club for 8 years and currently plays on our W15C team. She is an enthusiastic and dedicated team player and is always willing to give 110%. Chloe also contributes to our Club as a MiniRoo Referee and is an exceptional role model to all our junior players.
Ajay has been a member of Bangor Football Club for 10 years and is a valued member of our U15A team. He shows leadership on and off the field and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Ajay has also been a MiniRoo referee for several years and this year completed his refereeing accreditation with the Sutherland Shire Football Referees Association.
Chloe and Ajay are excellent representatives of our Club and deserving recipients of this year’s Junior Sports Person Award!

Volunteers needed to help Bangor FC host the Finals
The SSFA have nominated our home ground The Ridge to host semi-finals and finals and we need your support to make it work!
Not only is it an honour to have our home ground selected as the finals host, it is also a great opportunity for us to raise some much needed funds through BBQ and canteen sales to improve Bangor FC equipment and facilities.
But if we can’t get volunteers, we can’t host the games. We need people on Ground Control and BBQ duties. Please let us know if you can spare some time on the following finals weekends:

Come and join the Brumbies Committee
We’ll be holding the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 11th September. All members are welcome to attend to hear about the club and see what goes on behind the scenes to make a season of football.
We are looking for people to join the Brumbies Committee to help out.

Our second Kit Return will be held next week, on Wednsday the 9th of August from 6:30pm – 8pm at Billa Road Oval. Teams participating in finals or post season Gala Days should contact Equipment Officer Dean Harper (equipment@bangorbrumbies.org.au) at the conclusion of their season.
🗓️ Mon 11th September: Bangor FC Annual General Meeting
All members are invited to the annual AGM at Club Central Menai. Hear what’s happening behind the scenes and put your hand up to help out on the Committee.
🗓️ Sat 23rd September: End of Season and Senior Presentation
Tickets will be available on the website shortly. Coaches and Managers, please share the date with your teams.
Bangor FC Training Academy Replacement sessions start tonight
A reminder to those who have been training with the Bangor FC Academy in Term 2 that we have the first of two replacement sessions tonight.
For Term 2, we cancelled two sessions (26th May & 9th June). Therefore we will be providing replacement sessions to make up for these cancellations:
- Friday 4th August (Tonight!)
- Friday 11th August
Time and location are the same as always.
- U6–U8: 5.00pm – 6.00pm
- U9–U11: 6.05pm – 7.05pm
- U12 and above: 7.10pm – 8.10pm

Brumbies of the week!
Our Brumbies of the Week for Round 18 are the W9Ds!
The girls have had an amazing season and gelled really well as a team. A special mention goes to their Coach George who has done a great job fostering their development and love of the game.
This week’s honourable mention goes to Oliver from the U9F-2s who did an excellent job helping our committee members at our 2023 Junior Presentation Day.
