Round #10: A-League Men’s Grand Final weekend

Another big weekend of football

It’s another big weekend of football, with the A-League Men’s Grand Final and the FA Cup Final, but of course all eyes will be right here on our mighty Brumbies as they take on all comers from across the Shire. Good luck to all our teams this weekend!

Fun fact: Registrations have officially closed for another year. That gives us 574 Brumbies out on the park every weekend — 51 more than we had last year! Thank you to Michelle and Monique for another massive effort as our Registrar team! I’m sure there will be 574 grateful Brumbies ready to shout you a B&E roll at the canteen this weekend.

Don’t forget tickets for the Trivia Night are on sale right now. See below for the details and link to the website to purchase tickets.

Go Brumbies!

Coach’s training night a huge success

Last Monday’s Coach the Coaches night run by Brumbies Academy Coach Eddie Briscoe was a great success. We had a wide range of coaches from MiniRoo to Senior teams sharing their experiences and challenges.

Eddie was able to share a huge range of training ideas, knowledge and processes which are dedicated to developing grassroots football.

Some of the key things coming out of the night were

  • The importance of planning your sessions
  • Taking key notes of things you need to work on
  • Keeping your session progressive

Thank you to Academy Coach Eddie Briscoe and all the coaches that attended the Coach the Coaches night.
