Can you believe it’s the end of the week and another round of fantastic football is already upon us?!

Tonight the Brumbies Training Academy returns at Billa Oval. Check out the details below as the times have changed slightly. It’s not to late to join!

And please make sure you block your calendar out for the 24th June for the upcoming Brumbies Trivia Night. More details below…

Under 6Cs to the Rescue! 🙌

How’s this for club spirit?!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our U7Ds are struggling for numbers with only two players able to take the field for todays match. Fortunately this week, our U6Cs were able to come to the rescue, joining their game and helping them to an impressive victory over Barden Ridge. Thanks boys!

Can you help our U7Ds?

If you have a son interested in playing, or know someone who does, please contact the Bangor FC Registrar (registrar@bangorbrumbies.org.au) as soon as possible!

Brumbies Academy Term 2 Starts TODAY

Bangor FC Training Academy

We are expanding the program to one full hour per session to really focus on building those essential football skills. Please check the website as times have shifted slightly. And make sure you sign up early!

The Bangor FC Training Academy is exclusive to Bangor FC registered players. It provides a wealth of benefits, including building character, relationships, leadership and social foundations. It’s open to both male and female players from the age of 5+.

Please remember that all Academy players are expected to listen to the coaches and participate fully. Disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated as it is disrespectful to our dedicated coaches and to fellow players who are there to learn.

We’re very lucky to have a team of first class Academy Coaches to lead and inspire us at Bangor FC. Eddie and his team put our Brumbies Academy players through their paces in term one and they’re fired up for more.

U6–U8: 5.00 pm – 6.00 pm

U9–U11: 6.05 pm – 7.05 pm

U12 and above: 7.10 pm – 8.10 pm

Tips of the week…

⚽️ Referee Coverage for Competition Teams

There may be games throughout the season that DO NOT have referee coverage. Should this occur, it is up to the individual teams to provide a referee for the match.

⚽️ ID Cards

Please ensure ID cards are presented to the opposition prior to each match when the players line up, this includes borrowed players. Fines apply for those teams who do not show ID cards.

⚽️ Match sheets: 4 Simple Tips for Coaches and Managers

Please make sure you fill in your match sheet every week! This means at both home and away games. The club receives a fine for each element on the match sheet not filled in correctly and in the first two rounds we accumulated over $100 of fines! Learn the top 4 things you need to get right on the Match Sheet

⚽️ Become a Referee in 2023!

Sutherland Shire Football Referees are running their next adult referees entry course for persons with prior football experience on 1 May 2023 from 7pm to 9pm. It will be at a venue in the Sutherland Shire (TBC). Check out the full article on our website for all the details

Trivia Night 24th June

We’re excited to announce a fun night out for the Brumbies Family…

Brumbies Trivia Night
24th June 2023 @ 7:30pm
Club Easts

Stay tuned for more details and make sure you get in early to book your team a table!

To ALL teams — we need your help!

This is just a reminder that Ground Control is necessary to ensure games proceed smoothly each and every weekend.

As a community football club, run entirely by volunteers, it’s up to all of us to pitch in and do our bit to keep things going.

So thank you to all the parents, players and supporters who lend a hand — whether it’s flipping the bacon on the BBQ or putting out the goal posts.

Next time it’s your team’s turn, please put your hand up and help out.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding Ground Duty, please contact our Draw Secretary Michael Hulskamp (draw_secretary@bangorbrumbies.org.au) as soon as possible.

You can view the Ground Control here

Brumbies of the week!

Bangor Brumbies of the week Greg and Christian

Our Brumbies of the Week for Round 4 are Greg and Cristian!

These lovely gentlemen did a great job manning our BBQ at The Ridge on Saturday.

We would like to thank all the parents, players and supporters who assist us with ground duty each week. Whether it’s frying snags on the BBQ or putting out the goal posts, our club would not exist without you!

Who will be our Brumby of the Week for Round 5? To nominate a player, send a message to our Facebook page by 9pm Sunday with a photo as well as their name, team and why you think they should be crowned Brumby of the Week.
