Exclusive to registered Bangor FC players, the Academy teaches fundamental football skills in a fun and social environment under the careful supervision of our professional coaching team, Eddie Briscoe and David “DJ” James.

The program is designed to complement our existing Club structure and training schedules, providing players with additional opportunities for growth and development.

This year the Academy will run two nights a week at Billa Road with Under 6 – Under 9 players training Monday nights and Under 10s and over training on Fridays.

The Academy will commence Monday 6th May and run for 12 weeks through to the end of the season.

Shire Premier League – Match Report

Round 3 vs. Kirrawee
2 – 2 Draw

Our Premier League team managed to bounce back from last week’s tough loss in impressive fashion, narrowly missing out on all three points with two disallowed goals.

From the first whistle the team took the game to their opposition with impressive passing through the backs even when under pressure. The midfield worked well to control the game and the forwards worked extremely hard to create scoring opportunities and also drop back to defend. Milly Campbell remained calm under pressure, producing two great finishes for the teams goals. Unfortunately Kirrawee proved up to the task of matching these with two goals of their own.

Player of the match went to Lex who led from the front, winning the ball back time and time again and narrowly missing out on a goal of her own.
